I can’t get anything done. Each day, I perform one minor task – just one of: a load of washing, a 3-line email, buying some milk – but 4 hours fly past, empty, in reaction. It doesn’t take me 4 hours for the task – the tasks are slow but done in a reasonable time

It’s Friday again; “Frustration Friday”, where I spend 4 hours commuting to and from the school, then sit in school doing nothing all day … apparently so that civil servants can inflate some misleading statistics to make the government look better.
The sleep deprivation has reached migraine-inducing levels. And I’m still a noob at teaching.
